We believe that there is one God ( Deut. 6:4), revealed in three persons, coexistent, coequal and coeternal ( I John 5:7; Matt. 28:19): Father ( Eph. 4:6), Son ( John 1:18), and Holy Spirit ( Heb. 9:14).
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is truly God and truly man ( I John 5:20;John 1:17; Matt. 1:23; I Tim. 2:5,6), born of a virgin ( Matt. 1:23; Luke 1:23), and sinlessly perfect ( II Cor. 5:21; I Pet. 2:22). Because of Christ’s sacrifice, He is the substitute for the sinner ( I Pet. 2:24; I Pet. 3:18) and the one mediator who can effect the reconciliation between a Holy God in Heaven and a sinful man on earth ( I Tim. 2:5,6; II Cor. 5:18,19; I John 2:1,2). He was buried and rose bodily from the dead ( Acts 2:31, 32; Luke 24:39) and ascended to His Father’s right hand ( Eph. 1:20), where He now ministers as our Great High Priest ( Heb. 4:14-16; Heb. 9:24).
We believe that every man is separated from God and, by nature, sinful and lost (Rom. 3:23; Isa. 59:1,2; II Cor. 4:3). Recognition of this condition and repentance is essential for the salvation of man ( John 16:8-11; Acts 3:19; Luke 13:3; II Cor. 5:17; Titus 3:5). Redemption is wholly by the blood of Christ ( Heb. 9:12-14; I Pet. 1:18,19) and salvation is by grace, through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ ( Eph. 2:8,9; Rom. 3:24,25). Each child of God possesses the security of eternal life ( John 1:12; John 10:27-30; John 5:24).
We believe that every believer is indwelt and sealed by the Holy Spirit ( I Cor. 6:19,20; Eph. 1:13,14; Eph. 4:30), which happen at the time of salvation. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, the believer is enabled to live a godly life ( Acts 1:8;Gal. 5:16-25).
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust ( John 5:28,29;Rev. 20:12,13), the everlasting blessedness of the saved ( Phil. 1:23; Rev. 22:4,5), and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost ( Rev. 20:10-15; II Thes 1:8-10).
We believe in the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ for His church. In view of the nearness of His return, which we momentarily expect, we believe that the greatest need in the world today is a return to the Word of God, which alone can bring individual peace ( I Thes. 4:16-18; Rom. 5:1).
