What We Believe

We affirm our belief in one God, who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things and continues to uphold and sustain the universe. 1

We believe that God the Son became incarnate as Jesus Christ. He came to restore and redeem a world that had turned away from God in disobedience. Fully God and fully human, Jesus demonstrated God’s Kingdom in all He said and did. He willingly sacrificed Himself on the cross, taking our place, and thus enabling us to have a renewed relationship with our Heavenly Father. His resurrection from the dead conquered sin and death, granting us the freedom to live in a manner that honours God. 2

We believe that God the Holy Spirit convicts people to repent of sin. He invites them to be reconciled with Him, allowing them to experience new life in Christ and become part of God’s family. Empowered by the Holy Spirit and guided in all matters of life by the divinely inspired and trustworthy Scriptures, we surrender our lives, learning to follow Jesus in everything. 3

As Christians, our purpose is to worship God and represent Jesus faithfully, which includes calling others to become and grow as disciples of Christ. We eagerly anticipate the day when the Lord Jesus returns for His redeemed people, assuming His role as Judge of everyone who has ever lived, vindicating God’s character and glory by assigning the eternal future that God has prepared for them. 4
